Casanuova di Nittardi 1998
Chianti Classico DOCG

Nittardi is now surrounded by 120 hectares (296 acres) of protected forest, 12 hectares of vineyards devoted solely to the production of Chianti Classico and four hectares of olives. The wine, drawn from grapes harvested and selected with great care, bears the prestigious signature of Carlo Ferrini who has used his knowledge and passion in producing the Nittardi Riserva. The estate maintains a close link with art. For more than 20 years, a limited number of bottles of “Casanuova di Nittardi” have been labeled and swathed in silk paper designed exclusively by leading figures in contemporary art. Valerio Adami, Luigi Veronesi, Igor Mitoraj, Arroyo, Hundertwasser, Corneille and Emilio Tadini, are only some of the artists who have participated in this extraordinary “enogallery.” As a result, the bottles have become collectors’ items.
